Homemade Halloween

November 2, 2009

Indiana Jones- Drew wants everything to always be very authentic, so the store bought indie costume would not do.  We pieced this costume together with pants from JCPenney, men’s cargo shirt resized from Target, faux leather jacker i found at Ross, hat from party city, shoulder bag from Goodwill, and most importantly the WHIP (i made it from duct tape, directions found at Skiptomylou ).  Looked pretty authentic if you ask me!Indiana Jones

Belle- What would Halloween be without girls dressing up as princesses??  i used a pattern to make the dress, only the second one i’ve followed.  To make the dress look more authentic, i took a Belle medallion off her princess wand and added it to the dress with a bow.  i have to say she did look like a perfect little princess.
